This is one of the most important questions you can ask, and we love that our customers ask it. When your vehicle comes in, our technicians perform a thorough inspection and use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify what’s going on. Rather than handing you a list of repairs and leaving you guessing, we provide digital inspection reports that show you exactly what we found, with clear explanations of what needs attention now, what can be monitored, and what can reasonably wait. We never want you to feel pressured — our goal is to give you the information you need to make a smart, confident decision about your vehicle.
We’re open Monday through Friday, Mon – Fri: 7:30AM – 5:30PM, and . You can schedule your visit online through our website for maximum convenience, or call us directly at (731) 462-7033 and one of our team members will get you set up. We also welcome walk-ins, so if something unexpected comes up with your vehicle, feel free to stop by. We’ll do our best to get you taken care of the same day whenever possible, because we understand that being without your car is an inconvenience you can’t always plan for.
Absolutely. We know that life doesn’t stop just because your car needs work. That’s why we offer a shuttle service to get you where you need to go while your vehicle is being serviced, as well as loaner vehicles when available for longer repairs. If you need to leave your car with us before or after business hours, we offer a drop-off option so your schedule isn’t disrupted. We also provide regular updates throughout the repair process, so you always know the status of your vehicle without having to call and check in. Our goal is to make the experience as smooth and stress-free as possible for busy families and working professionals alike.
We accept a wide variety of payment methods to make it easy for you to pay in whatever way works best. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, debit cards, cash, and checks. We also accept Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo for added flexibility. For customers who need financing options, we offer Synchrony and TechNet Credit to help you spread the cost of larger repairs over time. We never want the cost of a necessary repair to feel out of reach, so if you have concerns about budget, talk to us — we’ll work with you to find a solution.
Rod’s Tire and Auto Repair has been a fixture in this community since the 1970s, and that kind of staying power doesn’t happen by accident — it’s the result of decades of honest work and genuine care for the people we serve. Many of our long-time customers still remember Rod himself selling them their first set of tires. The shop changed hands over the years, with the second owner relocating us to our current building on 47 Perimeter Pl, Medina, TN 38355 in 2007. Our current owner, Christal, along with her children Johnathan and Jordan, purchased the shop in 2014 and have continued the tradition of community-rooted, relationship-first service that Rod started so many years ago.
Yes — our technicians are trained and equipped to service all vehicle makes and models, both domestic and import. Whether you drive a Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Jeep, or anything in between, we have the tools and experience to diagnose and repair it correctly. We use computerized diagnostic equipment that works across vehicle platforms, and our ASE-certified team stays up to date on the latest automotive technology to ensure accurate, effective repairs no matter what you drive.
We stand behind our work with strong warranties on parts and labor, because we believe the quality of a repair should speak for itself long after you drive off the lot. Warranty terms can vary depending on the specific repair and the parts used, so we encourage you to ask your service advisor about the coverage that applies to your particular job. What we can promise is that we use quality OEM or equivalent parts on every repair, and we wouldn’t perform a service we weren’t fully confident in. Your peace of mind matters to us, and our warranty is one of the ways we demonstrate that commitment.
We earn your trust the same way Rod earned it back in the 1970s — through honesty, consistency, and doing right by the people in our community. We’re not a national chain with sales quotas to hit. We’re your neighbors, and many of our customers have been coming to us for years with multiple vehicles and multiple generations of their families. When we recommend a repair, we explain what’s happening, why it matters, and what could happen if it’s ignored. We use digital inspection reports so you can see the findings for yourself. Our goal is to be the shop you call when something feels off — not because we told you to, but because you know we’ll be straight with you every single time.
